Red Cardinal is a pixelation animation project based on a tale by the Cherokee. When a woman sees a male Cardinal bird near her making eye contact a transformation will take place in her life. In Red Cardinal our female represents the bird and the transformation. We see through ritual her becoming the bird and shedding her old skin.
